The Affidavit
On March 19, 2024, Elizabeth Alvarado signed a sworn affidavit in Cause No. 202417675. The affidavit is a public court record on file with the Harris County District Clerk. This page sets the statements made in that affidavit beside documents from the same period. It does not allege a crime and does not assert that any statement was made knowingly.
The affidavit was notarized by attorney Laci Rendon, who four months later signed and filed the Certificate of Last Known Address in the same cause. Notarizing an affidavit is a separate act from signing the certificate, and nothing on this page is directed at the notarization. The civil suit in Cause No. 2025-95850 separately alleges that the address listed in the certificate was incorrect; those allegations are denied and have not been adjudicated.

a named street address in New Orleans, Louisiana
The street address is omitted here; it is a residence and the request is a public court record that anyone may read at the District Clerk. The point is not which street it was, but that a specific New Orleans address was on file in December 2023. Seven months later, a Certificate of Last Known Address was filed in the other cause naming a decade-old, misspelled Houston address.

This page is a comparison of documents. It is not a finding, and it is not an accusation of a crime. A complaint about the affidavit was submitted to the Harris County District Attorney's Office. On March 20, 2026 that office responded that, based on the information and evidence in the report, “no charges will be filed or additional action taken by the District Attorney's Office.” No criminal charge has been filed against any person in connection with this matter, and no court or agency has found any statement in the affidavit to be false or knowingly made. The affidavit's accuracy is contested in pending litigation and has not been adjudicated.
